The ALLprofiler

Acute Lymphatic Leukemia (ALL) is the most common leukemia in children. Although significant progress has been made in the treatment of this disease, improvements in the diagnostic procedures are expected to further increase patient survival and reduce side effects. In collaboration with the department of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology of the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, Skyline Diagnostics is developing a diagnostic microarray for this disease, the ALLprofiler.

The ALLprofiler will enable:
•    Accurate diagnostic classification of ALL subtypes.
•    Prediction of chemotherapy responsiveness.
•    Prognosis of individual ALL patients.

Furthermore, usefulness of the ALLprofiler in all ALL patients, both child and adult, is under investigation.
