Workflow

The straightforward 5-step AMLprofiler workflow requires only three days

1. Sample collection

1 ml bone marrow, stored up to 48 hrs

No stabilizers required or allowed

Isolate leukocytes by Ficoll density gradient separation

2. Sample preparation

Prepare high quality biotynilated cRNA from bone marrow blast cells using validated kit.

Analytical QC parameters for RNA quality, purity and integrity.

3. Microarray setup and processing

Custom, standardized (SOP) workflow on Affymetrix 3000Dx v.2

Hybridization, washing, staining and scanning

4. Automated data processing

Array data interpretation via centralized secured server access

Comparison with clinical reference dataset of 244 AML/RAEB patients

Data is converted into a lab report and a clinician’s report

5. Results transferred to the clinician or laboratory
