Jan Egberts

Jan has significant senior management experience in venture capital, specialty pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. He received his MD from Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands and completed his postgraduate clinical training at Harvard Medical School, US. He also earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Stanford University, US. Jan Egberts, PhD is a non-executive board member of Endosense SA, Bmeye BV, Implanet SA and Acertys BV.  Most recently, Egberts served as industrialist in-residence and senior advisor for the Healthcare Investments Group of private equity firm 3i. His many corporate management positions have included Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Novadel, Chief Operating Officer of Dynogen, Chairman of Molnlycke Healthcare Inc. and President of Molnlycke’s BARRIER Surgical division, Vice President of Worldwide Business and Market Development as well as a global executive board member for Johnson & Johnson Medical, Executive Director of marketing at Merck & Co and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co.
